When did I get into showjumping and why did I choose the discipline?
After 4 years of eventing I purchased a Warmblood and switched to showjumping which he was more suited to. Showjumping is just you (the rider), your horse and the course. The judges do not have a subjective opinion and the result is up to the horse and rider alone. You either jump well or you don’t. This is what I appreciate the most about jumping - you can always improve on yourself and your horses.

Sponsors
I would like to thank Prydes Easi Feed and Gala Equine for their support in my riding. It certainly helps knowing that there are companies out there that help riders like myself achieve their best.

When did you get into Showjumping and what made you choose this discipline:
I was born into a show jumping family, with my mother Paula Hamood being a well known Australian showjumping rider. I started my competition career in the hack arena, but all the while really wanting to showjump like my mum but I was always too young or too little. Showjumping has always been a passion since I was very young, I used to pretend I was a horse and canter around the coffee table jumping books!

Sponsors:
I would like to thank my sponsors that get me and my horses from show to show looking and feeling so well. Animo Italia, One Black Horse NZ, Kentucky Equine Research and of course my family at Glen Haven Park.
